We would like to introduce you to our very special hotel on Lake Millstatt. “The Romantic House” is part of our name – see for yourself the successful implementation of the appearance of an old country estate. Since early summer 2023, this has also referred to the nearby nature park, which was already the first figurehead of the regional tourism in 1880. It was redesigned, the main attraction is the old lookout tower over the lake shore.<\/p>\n

Millstatt’s public webcam is located in the tower roof of our house. Through their eyes you have the approximate perspective of the place and the beautiful surroundings, as you can enjoy them mostly from our rooms. Depending on the weather and the time of day, a wide variety of moods are created here, framed by the lake and the mountains. This preferred location is certainly one of the strengths of this house.

Originally belonging to the Benedictine Abbey as a military court, during the era of the Georg Knights the building became a private noble residence, later a primitive Jesuit farmhouse. From the 1950s, the successive conversion into a family-run guest board began.
\nThe old Romanesque building is equipped with modern facilities: solar system, central heating, shower \/ WC, SAT-TV, WiFi…\u00a0 The lovingly renovated rooms characterize this romantic hotel.<\/p>\n
